How do I turn off the inspection for Dangerous File Types?
Answer
Clear the check box for File Associations in the Security Optimizer Automatic Complete Options window.
1. Open System Mechanic by double-clicking its desktop icon.
2. From the System Mechanic dashboard, click the Protect button.
3. From the Security and Protection Tools menu, click the Fix Security Vulnerabilities link.
4. Select the Complete Security Optimization option under the Automatic section.
5. Click Configure.
6. Scroll down to the bottom of the list and clear the check box for File Associations.
Excluding the necessary items from this tool will not exclude these items from the Power Tools such as PC TotalCare. If you have items that you require to be excluded from a particular tool or function, it is recommended that you exclude that function from being run by the associated Power Tool.
