How can I exclude cookies from being removed by System Mechanic?
Answer
- Open System Mechanic.
- From the main navigation panel select Tools>Individual Tools to display a list of tool categories.
- From the category list, select Free Up Drive Space, locate the Remove Internet Debris tool, then click the corresponding Start button.
- From the first screen of the Internet Cleanup Wizard select Custom Cleanup. Click Next.
- From the Option Categories panel select Internet Privacy. Click the Manage Cookies link.
- From the Cookie Protector tool, select the cookies you would like to exclude from being removed and click Protect. When you are finished, close the Cookie Protector window.
- Continue running the tool as usual to free up drive space without removing your protected cookies.
