iolo Attracts Veteran Tune-up Industry Executive Team

iolo attracts veteran tune-up executive teamAs part of iolo's shoestring startup budget in 1998, founder Noah Rowles used his self-taught software engineering know-how to personally develop the initial product line. As Rowles carefully grew the company and iolo emerged as a market-leader, top engineering talents were drawn to a workplace that encouraged professional growth, offered financial stability, and allowed the unique creative process needed for successful software design.

Today, iolo staff represent a rich blend of backgrounds in web technology, database development, usability design, requirements engineering, and the latest programming technologies. In addition, experts specializing in specific issues related to Windows operating systems, such as hard disk and memory defragmentation and registry maintenance, joined iolo and helped conceive its highly successful approach to PC tune-up.

To supplement the core technology and engineering skills in place and expand its long-range vision, iolo has also welcomed several veteran industry executives with decades of leadership experience.

  • Cammie Kristy, Vice President of Sales, joined the iolo team five years ago. A former executive with the pioneering utility software firms Cybermedia (First Aid) and Mijenix/Ontrack (Fix-It Utilities), Kristy brings over twenty years of proven experience to iolo. She has been instrumental in the launch, leadership, and ongoing success of iolo's retail channel sales efforts.

  • Jean-Jacques (JJ) Schoch was brought on board last year as iolo's Vice President of Marketing. Schoch began his career at Peter Norton Computing (Norton Utilities) and was the creator of the widely used Norton Desktop for Windows. He continued as product manager at Cybermedia, where he was integral to the growth of their First Aid product - at the time, the highest-selling utility software ever sold and the second highest-selling software of any kind, second only to the Windows operating system.

  • Kraig Lane, iolo's Director of Product Management, was formerly Peter Norton Computing's product manager and led the first and most famous tune-up software product ever designed, Norton Utilities (later acquired by Symantec). He worked with Schoch at Cybermedia and then later re-joined Symantec to become the key strategist behind the highly successful Norton Internet Security product line.

This seasoned executive team not only brings us a wide range of technology expertise, but also serves as a testament to iolo's success and high standing within the industry. Like the groundbreaking companies they've worked for in the past, iolo is built on a culture of innovation, a passion for the PC tune-up mission, and an atmosphere of open communication and creative energy. iolo's ability to attract the top technical and strategic experts in the industry will help the company continue to thrive and bring innovative solutions to consumers.
