Reports Energy Efficiency
Under Reports on the navigation bar, click Energy Efficiency.
The Energy Efficiency report displays information on the power usage, settings, and capabilities of your PC. These details can be used to help diagnose and reduce energy consumption and improve the battery life of mobile devices.
The pane is divided into three main sections:
Component Efficiency Levels Chart
System Information
Test Events and Details
This section displays the number of energy efficiency tests run by System Mechanic above a pie chart that gives a broad overview of your PC's energy efficiency.
The chart divides the test results into three efficiency levels:
High - These tests have detected that your PC is using energy efficient settings. These results are displayed in green.
Medium - These tests have detected that your PC is using sub-optimal settings and can be improved. These results are displayed in yellow.
Low - These tests have detected that your PC is using settings that are negatively impacting energy efficiency. These results are displayed in red.
This section displays hardware and manufacturing details.
The following details are displayed:
Computer Name - The User/Administrator specified name of the PC.
System Manufacturer - The name of the PC Manufacturer.
System Product Name - The name of the PC make/model.
BIOS Date - The date the BIOS was initially created.
BIOS Version - The current version of the BIOS on your system.
