User community results are statistics that represent the tendency of System Mechanic users to keep or uninstall programs detected as redundant by the CRUDD Remover tool. These statistics are continually updated to accurately show the overall trends towards these programs.
Note: User community results are intended as research tools only, not as recommendations to keep or uninstall any program.
User community results can provide a valuable resource to users who are uncertain which redundant programs to keep or uninstall. For example, if the user community results rating shows that your peers overwhelmingly prefer "Program A" over "Program B" and "Program C", you may feel more confident keeping "Program A" and uninstalling the others.
There are two types of user community results:
Overall: A comparison between the program and all other programs in the same category, including those not found on your PC. The overall user community results will always be displayed first.
Head-to-Head: A comparison between the program and another specific redundant program of the same type found on your PC. To view head-to-head ratings, click the down arrow to the right of the overall user community results.
Each program will only have one overall user community results rating, but can have several head-to-head ratings depending on the number of redundant programs found in that category.
All user community results are represented as a two-colored, segmented percentage bar.
Green represents the percentage of users who chose to keep that program and uninstall another competing program.
Red represents the percentage of users who chose to uninstall that program and keep another competing program.
A textual interpretation of the data is also displayed directly to the right of the percentage bar. It describes in plain language how frequently other users favor that program over competing programs.
In some cases a program may not have user community results. This is normal behavior when a program has been recently classified and not enough data been collected for an accurate rating.
