On the Connection Type screen, specify the type of Internet connection that most closely matches yours.
Specifying the correct Internet connection type is important to achieve the best Internet performance. If you are unsure of your connection type, ask your Internet Service Provider or other knowledgeable source.
Select one of the connection types:
High-speed or broadband: LAN, Cable, DSL, Satellite, ISDN, T1, or Wireless or other high speed connection
High-speed or broadband: Cable, DSL or Satellite, or Wireless running PPPoE

Dial-up: 56 BS (or higher) modem connection
Click Next to run the optimization.
