Complete Security Optimization

Tests run

By default, the Complete Security Optimization mode runs the following tests:

• Windows Messenger Service

• Windows Remote Registry Service

• Windows Automatic Updates

• Hosts File Redirections

• Trusted Publishers

• Trusted Sites

• Web Content Zone - Trusted Sites

• Web Content Zone - Restricted Sites

• Web Content Zone - Local Intranet

• Web Content Zone - Internet

• Dangerous File Types

The following tests are not run by default, but you can run them by making selections from the Security Optimizer Automatic Complete Options (click Configure to open):

• Default Search Page

• Default Home Page

• Null Sessions

• Denial of Service Attack

Repairs run

By default, the Complete Security Optimization mode automatically runs repairs.

You have the option of disabling automatic repairs for this mode:

• From the Operation Mode screen, click Options to open the Automatic Optimization and Repair Options Window, and then clear the Automatically fix all detected security problems (recommended) check box.
