The Edit Exclusions window allows you to add or edit the registry entries you want to exclude from error searches.
Note: Configuring both a key and a value at the same time means that only matching keys containing matching values will be excluded.
Select the Key name check box.
Click Browse to open the Browse for Key to Exclude window. This window displays the contents of your registry, with a hierarchical display similar to the Windows Registry Editor, except key values do not display on the right side.
Navigate to the key you want to exclude and click Exclude Selected Key. The window automatically closes and the selected entry displays in the Key name field.
If you want to exclude all the subkeys and values for this key, select the Exclude this key, all subkeys and values check box.
When you are finished making edits, either make any desired changes in Registry Values, or click OK to save your changes and close the window. You will return to the Options screen.
Select the Value name check box.
Click Browse to open the Browse for Value to Exclude window. This window displays the contents of your registry, with a hierarchical display similar to the Windows Registry Editor.
Navigate to the value you want to exclude, select it from the right side of the window, and then click Exclude Selected Value. The window automatically closes and the selected entry displays in the Key name field.
If you want to include values that partially match the text, select the Partial text match OK check box.
When you are finished making edits on the screen, click OK to save your changes and close the window. You will return to the Options screen.
