Overview of Manage Running Programs window
Select either Standard mode or Expert mode.
Standard mode. Standard mode is sufficient for most users. It allows you to stop or start the current running of a process, look up detailed information, and save a report.
Expert mode. Expert mode has all of the functionality of Standard, plus it allows you to set the priority of a process and block a process from starting again (for programs that are automatically set to start). We recommend that this mode only be used by advanced computer users.
The Automatically update process list every [x] seconds option controls how frequently the Manage Running Programs window refreshes its results.
If you do not want automatic refreshing, clear the check box.
If you do want automatic refreshing, select the check box and enter a value. You can enter from 2 to 30 seconds. Type in the value, or click the arrows, to change the number of seconds.
