Settings Window

To access:

Click Settings from the menu bar on top of the Home page.

What it does:

The Settings window allows you to designate what is included or excluded in the various virus scans, set up a schedule for scans, and change settings for how your computer downloads updates.

Jump to descriptions of each tab:

• Real-Time. Configure real-time protection settings.

• Email. Configure email protection settings.

• On-Demand. Configure on-demand scanning settings.

• Updates. Configure settings for downloading antivirus updates.

• Scheduled Scans. View or update the schedule for scanning.

• Preferences. Change general default settings.

Buttons on the window:

• Click Save to save and apply your changes and close the window. If you close the window without clicking Save, any changes you made will not apply.

• Click Cancel to disregard any changes made and close the window.

• Click Reset defaults to restore all of the default settings. This applies to all tabs.
