Manage Quarantined Files

To access:

From the Quarantine pane, click Manage Quarantine.

What it does:

The Manage Quarantined Files window displays the files that iolo AntiVirus has quarantined as suspicious or infectious. (More on quarantines.)

 

You can view information about these suspect files and either restore or purge them. You should:

View file information:

For each file in quarantine, the following information displays on the right side of the window:

 

Columns are resizable - Point to the divider between the column headers until you see a double arrow, and then drag the divider right or left, sortable - Click on a column header once to sort the column in ascending order; click again to sort in descending order, and movable - You can change the order of how the columns display. Click on the column header, hold the mouse down, drag the column to the new position, then release the mouse.

 

Purge or restore a file:

  1. On the right side of the window, select the file or files you want to work with:

Note: To select all the files shown, click Select all from the General Tasks pane. To clear all check box selections, click Select none.

  1. On the left side of the window, select the desired action:

  2. For a single file  highlighted , click Restore this file or Purge this file.

  3. For single or multiple files selected , click Restore selected or Purge selected
