Quarantine - Hold for Decisions

To access:

bluearrow.bmp

See the Quarantine pane on the middle, right side of the Home page.

What it does:

The Quarantine is a safe holding area that gives you control over suspicious files. The Quarantine prevents possible infections from spreading or causing damage, while still allowing you to restore the files you know are safe.

caution.gif Note: A quarantined file cannot function or infect any other files; as long as a file is stored in Quarantine, it does not pose a threat.

A file is placed in Quarantine if iolo AntiVirus determines it to be infectious or suspicious, and the antivirus is configured to place such files in Quarantine.

Instructions:

The Quarantine pane displays the number of files that are in quarantine.

To view the contents of the Quarantine, click the Manage Quarantine link to open the Manage Quarantined Files window. From this window, you can view details on quarantined files and either delete them or restore them.
