From the Individual Tools pane, click Maximize Performance and then click Start next to Optimize Windows Startup.
The Optimize Windows Startup wizard improves the time it takes your PC to start by disabling unneeded startup programs.
Various programs and services are set to load when Windows loads. Some of these programs, such as internet security, are desired, but many are useless.
Removing unneeded items from the startup process will boost your PC's speed, particularly the time it takes to boot.
The wizard has the following screens:
The Configure Windows Startup Programs Programs tool lists all the items currently configured to start when Windows loads. You can enable and disable items, view detailed file properties, create startup profiles, run reports, and more.
To have System Mechanic automatically remove unneeded items from startup when they are detected, enable Automatically optimize startup configuration on the Automated Tasks pane.
