SSD Accelerator: Maximize Solid-State Drive Speed

To access:

From the Individual Tools pane, click Maximize Performance and then click Start next to Maximize Solid-State Drive Speed.

What it does:

SSD Accelerator optimizes data on solid-state drives to increase overall storage speed and efficiency.

Why use it:

Solid-state drives require different methods of optimization than mechanical drives. Using a standard defragmentation tool on a solid-state drive will only cause additional wear and tear without producing any benefit.  

SSD Accelerator uses methods of optimization specifically designed to improve solid-state drive performance.

Instructions:

The wizard has the following screens:

• Introduction

• Find Drives

• Select Drives (only displays when SSD drives are found)

• Optimize SSDs

• Optimization Results
