Overview of the System Shield Disinfection History window
The File Protection tab shows detailed statistics for files found with infections.
Columns are resizable , sortable , and movable .
For each infected file found since the last reset*, the following information displays on the right side of the window:
File. The location and file name of the infected file.
Infection. The name of the infection that was detected.
Type. The type of infection, such as virus, spyware, or Trojan.
Result. The action taken by System Shield, such as Quarantined or Deleted.
Discovered. The date and time the infection was detected.
*Clicking Reset clears the entries on the window and restarts the count of infections from zero.
The File History panel on the left side of the window shows historical statistics:
Since Install: Date of install. Since you installed System Shield, shows the number of files scanned, the number of infections found, and the number of files disinfected.
Since Date and time of last reset. Since the day and time you last clicked Reset (which you click to restart the count from zero), shows the number of files scanned, the number of infections found, and the number of files disinfected.
Note: Since one file can have multiple infections, the number of infections found and the number of files disinfected may not be equal.
