Overview of Repair Hard Drive Problems wizard
The wizard searches the selected drives for errors. (If you want to cancel the search, click Cancel.)
When the search is completed or cancelled, the number of detected errors, if any, display.
The lower pane lists the following details for each drive test.
The drive tested.
The type of test. The exact display of the test type depends on the version of your operating system and whether you elected to run a surface scan.
The status. The status of the test. During testing, the status shows you the progress of the testing. When testing is complete, the status will be one of the following:
No problems detected. Drive is healthy. No errors were found on the drive.
Analysis on next restart is scheduled. Repairs will be run the next time you start or restart your computer.
If you want to turn off a repair, click the "Click here to cancel scheduled repairs on next restart" link.
Problems Detected. Repairs are required. Repairs are not currently scheduled. If you want the drive repaired, click the "Click here to analyze and repair drive during next restart" link.

When you are finished, you can do one of the following:
Click Perform another Search and Repair to return to the first screen of the Repair Hard Drive Problems wizard.
Click Exit on the bottom of the screen to return to the Home page.
Click the Close icon (X) at the top of the screen to close System Mechanic.
