NetSpeed Analyzer: Measure Internet Download Speed

To access:

From the Individual Tools pane, click Perform Diagnostics and then click Start next to Measure Internet Download Speed.

What it does:

The Measure Internet Download Speed wizard runs tests of Internet download rates. To help you analyze the effect of any changes, the final screen compares current results to previous results.

Why use it:

Testing download rates can help you refine your Internet configurations to achieve the best possible speed.
