Overview of Find and Remove Junk Files wizard

The Automatic Cleanup Options window allows you to set options for the Quick Clean or Deep Clean mode.

The fields on the window are described below.

Removal

Select how you want to handle removed files.

• Delete. Delete the files. (It will not be in the Recycle Bin.)

• Move to Recycle Bin. Send the files to the Windows Recycle Bin.

• Move to Incinerator. Send the files to the Desktop File Incinerator.

• Incinerate Immediately. Permanently delete the files using the Desktop File Incinerator (it cannot be recovered).

Preemptive Analysis

Select the Automatically estimate space to be freed using quick/deep cleanup check box to have System Mechanic automatically examine the applicable files and display an estimate of how much drive space can be freed by a cleanup.

Note: If you clear the check box, you can always run an analysis on-demand, by clicking Analyze from the Operation Mode screen.

By default, the check box is cleared.
