Overview of All Zone Security Options
The Medium security level provides intermediate protection while still allowing standard traffic. Threats and uncommon types of communication are blocked, but most routine Internet and network traffic is allowed.
Medium is the default security level for the Internet Zone.
On the Viewing: Medium Level Settings window, you can view the preset details, which are read-only and cannot be changed. The window has the following tabs (click on a tab name to view the detailed settings):

IntelliDefense. When enabled, shows the access for each IntelliDefense classification. You also have the option of disabling IntelliDefense.
General. Shows various settings, including default program permissions, broadcast/multicast protocols, and IGMP protocols.
Columns on each tab are resizable, sortable, and movable.
