Email protection scans email messages and attachments before they are received or sent. It detects infections and then removes them before they can do any damage. (See How System Shield handles infected email messages for more information.)
Email protection can scan both incoming and outgoing messages, and it works with any email application that uses POP3 (for incoming) and SMTP (for outgoing) messages.
To turn email protection on or off and configure settings, open the Configure System Shield Settings window and select the Email tab.
