iolo Tech: 2010 American Business Awards Finalists

Second year in a row, iolo honored in the Fastest-Growing Company and Executive of the Year Stevie® Awards categories

LOS ANGELES, CA – May 20, 2010 – In the 2010 American Business Awards this week, iolo technologies, LLC was named a Finalist in the Fastest-Growing Company of the Year – Under 2500 employees category, and iolo’s CEO and founder, Noah T. Rowles, was selected a Finalist in the Executive of the Year – Under 2500 employees category. This marks the second year in a row that iolo technologies and its CEO were honored by the nation’s most prestigious business awards.

This year, more than 2,700 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories in American Business Awards. All organizations operating in the U.S. are eligible to submit entries – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April through early May.

Privately held, always self-funded, debt-free, and profitable since inception, iolo stood out once again among the nationwide competition as one of the fastest growing companies in America, having won the coveted and highly contested category last year, consistently ranked on Deloitte Fast 50 list of the fastest growing companies since 2004, and been selected one of Lead411 Hot 90 in Southern California earlier this year.

As iolo’s founder and CEO, Noah T. Rowles has played a critical role in successfully establishing the new “tune up” software category, and with cutting-edge, user-friendly products firmly established iolo in its vanguard. Under his leadership, the company expanded its worldwide presence from 16 to 33 countries last year alone, and maintained its #1 best-selling position in the US, Canada, UK, France and the Benelux countries with record-breaking revenue numbers. According to NPD, iolo now commands 85 and 98 percent of the growing American and Canadian PC tune-up software markets, respectively.

Members of the Awards’ Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs will select Stevie Award winners from among finalists in final judging that will continue through May 28. Stevie Award winners will then be announced during the annual gala on Monday, June 21 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. More than six-hundred executives from across the U.S.A. are expected to attend. The ceremonies will be broadcast on radio nationwide by the Business TalkRadio Network.
