Best PC Performance Gains with System Mechanic 15

Introducing enhanced Problem Detection Engine, modernized interface
and many updated features for Windows 10 computers

PASADENA, CA, December 10, 2015 – iolo technologies, recognized globally as the industry leader in PC optimization, today unveiled System Mechanic® 15, the newest and most advanced version of its patented two-tiered approach to cleaning, stabilizing, speeding up and securing Windows computers.

System Mechanic is the only performance solution that first deploys a series of complex automated maintenance actions to help keep your PC stable and clutter-free, and then goes to work using proprietary technology to precision-tune dozens of Internet, processor, memory and hard drive settings in real time for maximum system speed and performance.

The new version finds and fixes more problems than ever, loads significantly faster and offers greatly enhanced Windows 10 support. The new simplified menu navigation and larger text also make System Mechanic 15 the easiest version to use yet.

Enhanced features in System Mechanic 15 include:

Privacy Cleaner
This feature offers more far-reaching cleanup of web browsing, search and chat history, includes support for Microsoft Edge, and recognizes the popular Silverlight, Flash and Java browser plug-ins.

Program Accelerator®
Re-engineered to fully support Windows 10’s new data management methodology, this patented program and data file defragmenting feature now completes realignment dramatically faster with proprietary Whole Drive Realignment technology.

NetBooster now dynamically adjusts over a dozen separate TCP/IP and DNS settings for optimized Internet speed in real time with no reboot required. System Mechanic detects which version of Windows you’re running, from XP through Windows 10, to ensure your broadband is always the smoothest and fastest possible.

Windows 10 Support
System Mechanic has added dozens of specialized enhancements aimed specifically at making Windows 10 even faster, more clutter-free and secure.

About System Mechanic
System Mechanic® goes to work whenever your PC is idle, removing junk files, registry fragments and other unwanted clutter that confuses and slows down Windows. A group of real-time features then goes on to customize your operating system for maximum speed. This includes scaling back unimportant, processor-hogging apps, unlocking trapped RAM and idle processor cores for programs when they need it, and improving a whole cache of under-performing network settings for the smoothest streaming, gaming or browsing available with your broadband connection.

With just a click, users can also easily and conveniently let System Mechanic run hundreds of critical diagnostic tests and then safely apply any combination of the individual tools necessary to restore speed, maximize performance and increase stability.

System Mechanic has been used by more than 45 million people to keep over 80 million computers in optimal condition since 1998. It is consistently ranked as the best-selling software in its category within the US, Canada, UK, France and Benelux countries by NPD and similar sources. System Mechanic is the five-time winner of the PC Magazine Editors’ Choice Award for best PC optimization solution.

System Mechanic 15 is automatically available at no charge to all users with an active iolo service plan, which provides all product updates and upgrades, as well as continuous Tune-up Definitions updates. New or lapsed-plan subscribers can purchase System Mechanic 15 directly from, via all major web e-tailers, or in one of more than 23,000 retail storefronts that carry iolo’s products worldwide, such as Wal-Mart, Best Buy and Staples.
