Enabling Sound FX When PowerSense Switches Modes

LiveBoost can be set to play distinct sounds that let you know when your power settings have changed to one of the seven built-in modes, as well as any custom modes you create. To enable this feature.

    1. Within System Mechanic, select Options in the upper right corner of the window.

    1. Choose the LiveBoost tab.

    1. Check the box next to Play a sound when PowerSense changes mode.

    1. LiveBoost offers three default sounds for these modes, based on which performance plan the mode is derived: Ultra Performance, Endurance or Standard/Balanced.

    1. You can preview these sounds by choosing a PowerSense mode from the Change sound dropdown menu, and clicking the Test button.

    1. Click the down arrow in the Sounds dropdown menu to change the sound associated with each mode.

    1. To choose a sound stored on your computer instead of any default sounds, Select the PowerSense mode from the Change sound dropdown menu and then click Browse to search your computer for .wav files to associate with it.

  1. Click Save to affirm your changes and exit.
